Making Print More Possible
We are a startup publishing house dedicated to impactful storytelling and accessible art.
In 1440, Gutenberg built the first movable printer in Mainz, Germany—revolutionizing access to print.
585 years later, Blinding Visuals was founded in the same city as the Gutenberg Press, with a renewed mission: to expand access to large-format print, and enable authors to connect with their communities.

Our Mission:
Blinding Visuals exists to do two things:
Make art more accessible to communities.
Reduce publication barriers for artists.
Our Promise:
Here’s how we bring our mission to life:
We install our published books as Portable Galleries around the globe in partner spaces, bringing art to communities wherever they gather, meet, and connect.
We fully fund production and publishing, removing traditional burdens so authors can focus on creatively sharing with their community.

Our Five Publishing Pillars:
Authors First
Most publishers offer 15% royalties—we start at 51%, and creative control stays with the artist.
Fully Funded
No fees. No fine print. We cover editing, printing, fulfillment, and distribution—always.
Portable Galleries
Large-format, gallery-grade books designed to bring your art off the wall and into the world.
Community Launch
Our Publishing House publishes every project through a pre-order campaign—involving your community from day one.
Global Audience
Your work reaches readers worldwide, through international distribution online and partner brick-and-mortar locations.
